Alabama is going green
By: adminBarnes & Noble has partnered with Huntsville’s “Operation Green Team” to help out the Huntsville city schools EARTHSCOPE program from March 29- April 25, and all you have to do is say “I’m going green!”
Almost 31 years ago, three visionaries had a dream to help teach our children in elementary school how they can grow up to be educated on environmental issues. Mary Ann Terry, Jim Black and Dave Brotherton have well succeeded that vision.
EARTHSCOPE has and continues to teach the children in Huntsville about environmental issues ranging from the natural wildlife to the world as a whole. Thanks to their vision, our future generations will learn how to take care of this magnificent world around us, along with an empathetic heart for all that lives on our Earth; our home; our lives.
